(Easton, PA) Tower Products Inc., a global manufacturer of pressroom chemicals, has been acquired by a group of private investors and will be headed by Rachel McGrath, a seasoned business leader. The company will continue to operate independently as Tower Products LLC with the same team, the same quality service, and the same focus on creating and producing great products for end users, dealers, and equipment manufacturers across the printing industry.

The new CEO, Rachel McGrath, joins the company after working for years in the petrochemical industry at Chevron and consulting on innovation products for industrial and chemical companies at Innosight, a consulting firm founded by Harvard professor Clay Christensen. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Her focus going forward will be on growing and developing the business while leveraging the technically focused customer service and culture of urgency which have made the company successful to date.

The entire Tower Products Inc. team will remain with the company moving forward and the company will continue to provide the same high level of technical service, responsiveness, and product quality that its customers have come to expect. The business’ headquarters will remain in its current facility in Easton, PA. Former owner Richard Principato will remain as the COO, assuring continuity in the business and its relationships with customers.
