PHOENIX – MUTOH’s VerteLith™ RIP Software has been recognized by the European Digital Press Association with an EDP Award in the Workflow Technologies software category.
This award recognizes the best products in several categories, honoring the best and newest products. For 2021, VerteLith was thoroughly reviewed and evaluated by members of the European Digital Press Association and then voted on by members as a winner in the Workflow Technologies category. The Technical Committee noted VerteLith RIP software is ideal for print shops and offers functionality usually found in more expensive programs. Built around a Harlequin host renderer, which ensures fast RIP processing times for both PDF and PostScript files, VerteLith is a robust platform the optimizes the output of MUTOH brand printers.

VerteLith™ RIP Software produces the best possible gradients and skin tones using MUTOH Clear Tone, a halftone screening technology specifically designed for inkjet printers. Additionally, VerteLith also generates white and/or varnish layers using a selection of presets and includes a powerful preview function that supports soft proofing and on-screen RIP previewing of the actual printing dots prior to output to help eliminate mistakes and waste. The RIP includes the Pantone© spot color library to allow accurate mapping of any named solid/coated Pantone spot color within a design.
